Tomorrow is when my exam results are back , and guessing i'd be in a dark place the next couple of days, or maybe ( if i'm lucky ), celebrating! Tried to get that out of mind by having a hot stroll around marina bay, then having some TWG tea time treats.

picking up the pieces

had so much good food at Holland Village its like heaven on earth. I can't think of anything better than brunch the minute i wake up ! got chased out of the house by my insane sister barking at me to hurry up. Didn't complain much, she made up for bringing me to cafe Hatched. will upload the images of the food sometime later, for this post is getting a little long!

had a photo-taking session afterwards along the stretch of eateries, in the hot sun. Funny i didn't have my frizzy hair up in the usual poofy bun, guess i was too busy flipping through desert menus ! Settled for haagen dazs' green tea ice cream as i haven't tried that before. just so happened to match my green-red assemble, jade/ emerald is my new choice of colour ♡ find this outfit at my shop now!

friday morning breakfast - oatmeal cookie and milk, soya tart and blueberry toast. best way to look forward to early mornings, hope everyone has a good start today! enjoy .

my almost lover

Made a trip down to Tiong Bahru for brunch. On the way we passed Books Actually by chance and i was so happy i went in to source for new books! i vaguely remember ones i randomly flipped through but i love the atmosphere, it sure was cozy! Can't wait to visit again.

This bakery i ate at had the best croissants i've ever tasted. It was light, fluffy, all warm and buttery. The best part was that it came with jam. I even brought some back home just to share! After i had tea, and a berries panna cotta, we went back out into the sunshine to take some pictures in my mini pleated number. That's all folks, and happy national day Singapore!

i'm off to sleep

every few days i get bagels for breakfast and if i'm lucky i get enough to last me the week. ♡ 

little white doves

sunday mornings i leave my house for early morning math classes, and then after a short few hours i return home to my cozy bed. usually i would go back into a dreamless sleep, away from the busy life going on outside, but today i decided to have breakfast in bed with fresh scones and crepes that my mother had brought back for me. sometimes i really wish that i had someone to curl up onto bed, sleep in late and enjoy the yummy brunch treats with. Most importantly, basking in the simplicity of another's affection, like the kind in movies. 

white chocolate pellets, cereal flakes and cheerios are my favorite toppings for yoghurt. The thick creaminess balances the squeezed orange juice is something that makes a delightful weekend morning more magical than it is. toasted scones to go with my clotted cream and raspberry jam is sinful, and meji crackers is a must. i gobbled up my crepe in seconds and what was left of it was a bit of its 'skin' that i tied into a bow and placed it on top of

my scone. and then i picked up my camera and snapped away.

back to my travel diary for taiwan : i love strawberries !! crazy in love with the sour taste and its fragrance, so this was what i looked forward most ! wasn't exactly berry-picking season, but we managed to get a few handfuls for a cheap price :)

didn't want to do too much today, just went out for some spanking good breakfast, had quiet time to read and going back out later to shop til late. its my grandma's birthday today too so i'll be bringing her out for dinner, so i love you popo.
